Adobe reveals new AI-powered mobile app, Adobe Express
Fri, 19th Apr 2024

Adobe has announced an all-new Adobe Express app featuring generative AI technology. This all-in-one AI content creation app enables users to create, design and share standout social media posts, videos, flyers, logos and more.

“Adobe Express brings the magic of Firefly generative AI directly into web and mobile content creation experiences,” said Govind Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Adobe Express and Digital Media Services at Adobe. The app aims to meet the soaring demand for social content by making it straightforward to create and collaborate across platforms, thus enhancing users' creativity and productivity.

Equipped with Adobe’s industry-leading creative tools and AI, the Adobe Express mobile app is a comprehensive content editor, allowing for photo, design, and video editing on both web and mobile devices. From marketers promoting new products and small business owners crafting standout business cards to students producing social media reels for campus events, the app caters to a wide range of users and needs.

Adobe Express is powered by Adobe Firefly generative AI. This simplified usage of complex technology allows users at any skill level to perform complex tasks swiftly and easily. The feature set includes Text to Image, Text Effects, Generative Fill, and Text to Template, automating the processes into a one-click action for creators to generate eye-catching headlines or replace backgrounds, among other things.

The new Adobe Express mobile app offers a set of easy-to-use features, including Video, text-to-image, Generative Fill, Text Effects, Text-to-template, Expanded Content and Templates, Quick Actions and Content Scheduler. Users can pick from thousands of striking video and multipage templates, abundant Adobe fonts, Adobe stock videos, and design assets to create customised, creative content.

Adobe Express is gaining momentum and flourishing its partner ecosystem. Earlier this year, Adobe announced a first-of-its-kind integration with TikTok's Creative Assistant, aimed at making the creation and optimisation of TikTok videos quicker and easier. The tech giant also recently introduced Express GPT as part of a collection available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and struck a new partnership with Kajabi, a top creator commerce platform, to help creators generate outstanding content.

The Adobe Express mobile app also serves as a perfect companion to other Creative Cloud apps, providing an extended surface allowing Creative Cloud subscribers to create, edit and collaborate on the go. Any creative assets from Photoshop and Illustrator can be easily accessed, edited and worked with directly within Adobe Express. Creative Cloud subscribers also have full access to all premium features in Adobe Express across desktop, web, and mobile.

The new Adobe Express mobile app is now available for free worldwide in many languages and on most Android and iOS devices.
